Leadership Team

Karen Harrison qualified as a teacher in 2001 after completing a BA (Hons) and QTS at Bath Spa University College. She has since been teacher and leader in mainstream settings in South London. She has a wealth of experience in leading SEND provision, including establishing a resource base for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties.

Karen joined STEP Academy Trust in 2016 as part of the Senior Leadership Team at Tudor Academy in Croydon with the role of Inclusion and Designated Safeguarding Lead. She has experience of mentoring and supporting new SENDCOs and is currently co-facilitating the NPQ SENCO course.

Karen jointly leads SEND as a Trust SEND Lead across STEP Academy Trust and is currently working with Park Academy.
