Leadership Team

Mr Johnson grew up in South London and continued his academic journey at university in Southampton, where he earned a BA in Performing Arts. During his time there, he refined his craft, developed a deep understanding of creative expression and discovered a passion for education that would shape his career. He later advanced his professional training at Roehampton University of London, achieving a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

Committed to leadership and excellence, Mr Johnson went on to complete the National Professional Qualification in Headship (NPQH). Before stepping into his current role, he served as SENDCo at Park Academy, where he championed inclusive practice and strengthened provision for pupils with additional needs. He is known for his ability to build strong relationships, inspire colleagues and lead with purpose. 

Throughout his career, Mr Johnson has dedicated himself to serving in many communities across South London, contributing to a number of schools with professionalism and care. In 2019, he joined the STEP Academy Trust, becoming a valued member of the organisation. His work has been consistently centred on raising aspirations, improving outcomes and building environments where children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Mr Johnson remains committed in upholding the values of STEP and is deeply committed to nurturing a thriving, ambitious and inclusive school community. His vision, resilience and dedication ensure that Park Academy continues to grow, improve and deliver exceptional opportunities for every child.
